my buddy poked the crap out of my Parotid Gland, and it kills help?

so me and a much bigger friend were fighting, and he decided that hes a fat fuck and felt the need to jam his thumb into my parotid gland, now its the night after and i can barely look down, eat, flex my neck, look to the left right or even up, it was pretty hard, kindove feels like tearing a muscle underneath your jaw... my question is, will there be permanant damage, and is it bad to subdue pain in this gland?
