Default U.s. Coast Guard...Can i join if i have had my thyroid removed for thyroid cancer?

i just wanted to know if I had my thyroid removed for cancer two years ago,would this prevent
me from joining. My thyroid was removed.your thyroid produces a chemical your organs need to function properly..with out my
thyroid i cannot produce this chemical so i have to take synthroid someone told me it would since i have to take thyroid meds every day for the rest of my life

No. Taking thyroid medication is a disqualification from all branches.
