How does a Tuberculosis survive?

What does it eat?
What is the shape?
Where are they found?
What do they do to survive?
I am very interested, but I can't seem to find an exact answer on any websites.

Yes, I know that Tubercualosis is a disease, but I am talking about the bacterium. Just answer as much as you know, please.
